Carpenter’s Place, a Christian faith-based, not-for-profit agency dedicated to serving homeless adults and families, is seeking a Volunteer and Donations Coordinator. We are in search of an energetic individual with excellent customer service skills and a servant heart. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the diverse group of volunteers who contribute to the operation of Carpenter’s Place and assist our guests. Key duties include recruiting, scheduling assignments, and recognizing the efforts of our volunteers. Additionally, Carpenter’s Place relies on donated meals and goods to meet the daily needs of our guests, and the Coordinator will recruit donors, coordinate deliveries and manage inventory. This position involves tasks such as lifting light to medium-weight items, navigating stairs frequently, data entry, and general office responsibilities. Previous experience in volunteer coordination is preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
